I’m going to admit that I don’t know a lot about Sweden’s history but I’m looking forward to getting educated at the same time I watch two young ladies lay waste to an army of cutthroats. Infusing Hong Kong style action design with heavy handed period drama is a slam dunk and this one goes all in with the brutal and barbaric set pieces and buckets of blood. The tagline “For Carnage and Glory” is a chef’s kiss alone so why not combine Jackie Chan style mayhem with a little BBC drama.
