Before Captain America takes on the Red Hulk next February, he’s going to have to get through some bad ass monsters first. That’s what’s happening as Anthony Mackie is set to save the world in the new sci-fi actioner Elevation. Also starring genre favorites Morena Baccarin (Deadpool, Firefly), it’s time to wage war on with the latest creature feature!
Official Synopsis: Elevation is set in a post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains, where a single father and two women venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy.
Maddie Hasson (Malignant) and Danny Boyd Jr. (Bruised) also star in the thriller which hails from director George Nolfi who also worked with Mackie on the films The Banker and The Adjustment Bureau. The script was penned by John Glenn (Eagle Eye) as well as SEAL Team duo Jacob Roman and Kenny Ryan.
I’m always a fan of racking up and battling world ravaging creatures and the cast is solid so with Vertical Entertainment planning to bring the film to theaters on November 8th, hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to see it on the big screen. I’m a huge fan of Chris Pratt’s The Tomorrow War so this will make for a hyper charged double bill.
