Yesterday, I had the distinct honor in finally interviewing action and martial arts sensation Bren Foster (Maximum Conviction, The Last Ship) for his upcoming action/drama Life After Fighting. The hard-hitting action pic sees Foster making his directorial debut as well from a script that he also wrote. The film is poised and ready for a Jun 7th launch date via Vertical Entertainment and during the interview, Foster shared with me the exclusive reveal of two posters for the film which you can see only here at Action-Flix below!
International action and martial arts sensation Bren Foster (The Last Ship, Deep Blue Sea 3) is finally back in action after a prolonged hiatus and he’s ready to kick some ass for a good cause in his directorial debut effort Life After Fighting. Foster stars as Alex Faulkner who is a martial arts instructor who must use what he knows for real when human traffickers kidnap two of his students. Bad move on their part to say the least. What results is the human tornado delivering such much-needed beatdowns to those who deserve it.
Cassie Howarth, Annabelle Stephenson and Luke Ford round out the cast with Foster front and center wearing multiple production hats. A promotional teaser trailer hit a while back but has since been taken down, but it did highlight Foster delivering his rapid-fire kicks and equally rapid-fire hand combos taking down a gauntlet of baddies with lightning quick proficiency. Foster is one of the best on the business and this movie will surely prove what a phenomenal talent he is. The film deals with heavy drama as Foster tackles the very real and horrific subject of human trafficking, so this one has a message to go along with his signature martial arts action sequences.
