It’s been a while for your boy and boy have I had a rough month but I’m here to tell you that I’m back and ready to go full tilt boogie with the website and podcasts. I’ve picked myself up and dusted myself off and now I’m ready to handle some Scott Adkins news as the action superstar has shared an official first look image of his character Navy SEAL Jake Harris who is ready to have another bad day in one continuous take with the sequel ONE MORE SHOT. Adkins also shared the both he and returning director James Nunn are ready to hit the stage at the UK MCM Comic Con which is set to run from December 1st to the 3rd in Birmingham. The panel for One More Shot will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 1:15 pm UK time. During the live event, Adkins and Nunn will officially drop the first look trailer for the movie and go deep behind the scenes of making the film which simulates one continuous take once again.
The cast with Adkins is stacked as he is reunited with fellow Undisputed 2 star and fellow action phenom Michael Jai White. Genre and Hollywood icon Tom Berenger (Sniper) also appears in the film with Alexis Knapp rounding out the main cast.
Adkins did supply some juicy details for One More Shot will speaking with Collider as he did press for John Wick Chapter 4. He mentioned that this film takes place right after the events of the first movie and where the original was a siege movie, this one will be a chase flick.
The synopsis says that the sequel follows Navy SEAL squad leader Jake Harris who is escorting a suspected terrorist from a black site when they come under fire from a group of mercenaries.
Expect plenty of ammo spent, suppressing fire and elite CQB hand to hand combat carnage to fill the movie’s running time with Adkins running another non-stop gauntlet as he does what he does best. The first film is one of Adkins’ best in my opinion and was a continuous take barrage of firepower and fisticuffs.
