After starring in last year’s ultra-awesome WWII movie Battle for Saipan, Louis Mandylor is returning for another round of battle scars and blood with his latest 3 Days on Malay. This time however, Mandylor is also at the helm, directing the movie from a script by action cinema filmmaker Brandon Slagle. Check out the key art and new trailer below!
Louis Mandylor, Cowboy Cerrone and Quinton Rampage Jackson star in the WWII film 3 DAYS IN MALAY, available in select theaters, on demand and digital August 11 from Saban Films. Mandylor also directs the film which is inspired by a true story.
Official Synopsis: Inspired by a true story, Marines stationed at an airfield in Malay during WWII get wind of a coming raid by the Japanese. Unable to get reinforcements approved, they engage in a harrowing 3-day battle against enemy forces. Starring Louis Mandylor, Cowboy Cerrone and Quinton Rampage Jackson.

Mandylor has some serious firepower for a cast as he is surrounded by MMA star Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and fellow UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. You know it’s going to be a good one when the actors in it have kick ass nicknames. Also starring are Peter Dobson, Ryan Francis, Randall J. Bacon, Randy Wayne, and Kelly Lynn Reiter.

This one looks just as epic as Battle for Saipan and there’s no shortage of Warrior Bravado and explosive war action to be had. I love these few against many actioners as they always include harrowing heroism and sacrifice to up the drama to go along with the blistering set pieces. Looking forward to this one!
Saban Films will launch the movie in theaters, Digital & VOD on August 11th!
