Yellowstone as we know it might be coming to a collective end and with it, Kevin Costner will ride off into the sunset. Spin-offs are on the horizon but they are always off so in the meantime, we’ve got a new poster and trailer for series creator Taylor Sheridan’s next can’t miss action-drama!
Titled Special Ops: Lioness, the series stars MCU alum Zoe Saldana as the leader of an elite team of operatives who must terminate a terrorist threat while keeping it on the down low. The world is watching and there is more at stake than just the lives of Joe and her team as she clashes with Nicole Kidman’s Kaitlyn Meade who is the head of the Lioness program. Hollywood icon Morgan Freeman also stars as U.S. Secretary of State Byron Westfield. Laysla De Oliveira will also star as Cruz, a military operative sent to aid Joe on her mission. Michael Kelly rounds out the cast.
There’s no shortage of action, political intrigue and shots of Saldana kicking ass so this one is on my radar when it hits Paramount Plus starting on July 23rd. Sheridan cannot miss in my book with Yellowstone and Tulsa King being two of my favorites so combining his track record with military action is a big win and right in my wheelhouse!
