It’s a genre mash up as Star Wars: Rogue One director Gareth Edwards helms a new pic that combines the best elements of past classics such as Star Wars and The Terminator. Titled The Creator, it’s all out AI warfare with breathtaking visuals and heart pounding action set pieces. View below!

“A post-apocalyptic thriller involving a future impacted by a war between humans and AI,” reads the synopsis. The all-star casts includes Tenet’s John David Washington front and center with Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Ralph Ineson and Ken Watanabe leading up co-acting duties.

The real stars of the movie are the visual effects which are solid as hell and The Creator looks to bring back the glory days of Sci-Fi epics like Alien, Stars Wars and Blade Runner. I’m all in here and Edwards is a welcome return for genre fans as he loves to deliver deans spectacles.

The Creator starts it’s war in theaters on September 29th!
