We’ve got some exclusive pics and a new trailer embedded for the Vietnam war film Ambush. Including fantastic and raw and gritty action set pieces, the movie stars Aaron Eckhart, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Connor Paolo (The Stakelander).

In Ambush, Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings) star in this intense, gritty and action-packed Vietnam War epic. When a small outpost is ambushed, a US Army squad must take the battle below ground on a high-stakes mission in a new type of warfare the likes of which they have never seen.

It stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings), Connor Paolo (“Revenge,” “Gossip Girl,” Alexander), and Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight). It was directed by Mark Burman who co-wrote the film with Johnny Lozano, and Michael McClung

Back in the 80’s and 90’s, the Vietnam themed movie and TV series was one of my go to for entertainment. From the lines of Tour Of Duty to the unflinching Film Hamburger Hill, these are the films and show I revisit often so hopefully this movie will be added to my collection. The Trailer definitely leaves the viewer with enough gravitas and extreme war action and drama that’s for sure.
