Warner Bros. might be restructuring its DC properties leaving a lot of projects hanging out in the breeze but fans will still have at least one more season of the hit series Titans to enjoy. That is unless they pull it from the schedule line they did Batgirl. Too soon…my apologies. Anyway, I digress so watch the new trailer that introduces Titus Welliver as the iconic super villain Lex Luthor!
Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, and Joshua Orpin as Superboy. In addition to Titus Welliver as Lex Luthor, the new season also features Joseph Morgan as Brother Blood, Lisa Ambalavanar as Jinx, and Franka Potente as Mother Mayhem.

I’ll admit that I am behind on the show as I’m only still on season 2 but I’ll get there someday. I love the show but have had way too much in my plate so this has been one of the unfortunate casualties in my viewing. I’ll rectify that soon. No worries. I will admit though that I was let down by how they handled the much hyped appearance of Batman in season one. I also was not a fan of the casting of Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne later on. No offense to the actor as he is solid but that was severe miscasting as he looks nothing like what Bruce Wayne should.
A fifth season is up in the air right now and showrunner Greg Walker talked about it in a recent interview with Inverse.
“You know as much as I do… [we’re] in a wait-and-see mode,” Walker stated in the interview. “We’re excited about this season. HBO Max is incredibly supportive of the show and really helping us become the show we want to be and get us in front of as many people as possible. If you’ve got an idea where it’s going, let’s meet and have a conversation because I want to know.“
It’s definitely hard to be a DC fan these days but we do have Black Adam with Dwayne The Rock Johnson to look forward to this weekend. That film might rejuvenate the DCEU but we shall se as the movie is getting a luke warm reception from critics. I suspected that it would but ultimately it’ll be the fans that make the call. After all, if you’re one to have a critic sway whether you’re going to see a movie or not then I feel sorry for you. I’ve never said “hey, you know what, I’m not going to see a flick and make up my own damn mind because a stuffy critic said it wasn’t worth it.”
Titans Season 4 launches on HBOMAX on November 3rd. The season will be split as a two episode premiere will hit on the third followed by weekly episodes up until December 1st. The remaining six episodes will land next year.
