MGM Studios has unveiled the new trailer for Creed III which sees Michael B. Jordan returning as Adonis Creed. Jordan also makes his directorial debut with the third installment which sees Adonis facing new challenges that not only occur in the boxing ring.

The past can be the worst kind of enemy and that’s exactly what’s coming for Adonis in the form of Damian (Jonathan Majors Da 5 Bloods) who wants to take everything away from the champ for something that happened years ago. The rage and vengeance will spill into the ring for a match of a lifetime.

Official Synopsis:

After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose.

Sylvester Stallone, who stepped away from the series, will surely be missed but the drama and boxing action will definitely fill the void. Jordan is really starting to shine in Hollywood and now it looks like he’s a double threat in front of and behind the camera now.

CREED III punches it’s way into theaters on March of next year.
