SHOTGUN WEDDING: Jennifer Lopez & Josh Duhamel Get Hitched and Run & Gun in Amazon Prime’s New Romantic Action-Comedy Filled with Firepower!

Josh Duhamel is really making waves in the action genre department these days. With his new Netflix actioner Blackout poised and ready to launch on the streaming service at the end of the month, he also has Jennifer Lopez to call his movie wife in Amazon Prime’s latest exclusive flick known as Shotgun Wedding. The new trailer is now online which shows off the silliness of the film to go along with the bullets so partake in both stars getting their romantic comedy groove on while running and gunning at the same time. Something tells me I’m going to enjoy Blackout a lot more but at least I have something to watch with my wife on a night we are both free.

Official Synopsis:
In Shotgun Wedding, Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, just as the couple begin to get cold feet. And if that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage. “’Til Death Do Us Part” takes on a whole new meaning in this hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones—if they don’t kill each other first.

This film, which was helmed by Jason Morre, is known mainly for being the flick that once starred Armie Hammer along with Lopez. After Hammer was accused of abuse and cannibalistic tendencies, he has since stepped away from the spotlight and Duhamel stepped in to take his place. Also starring along with Lopez and Duhamel are Jennifer Coolidge, Sônia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, D’Arcy Carden, Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter, Alberto Isaac, and Lenny Kravitz.

Shotgun Wedding, which hails from Lionsgate, blasts its way onto Amazon Prime on January 27th, 2023.
