The long delayed Donnie Yen disaster epic Come Back Home, which hit a snag like so many films did when COVID hit, is finally getting a Chinese release in theaters this October. A new and more powerful second trailer has gone online and our friends at Asian Film Fans had put out an English subbed teaser. Check it out below!
In Come Back Home, Yen plays an expert in search and rescue who must break into action to save his son. Fans expecting Yen to do his usual ass whippings will probably have to temper expectations as this one is being described as a drama about a father and son amidst a tragedy that strikes.

After delivering a countless barrage of adrenaline and high-octane action flicks, international martial arts star Donnie Yen is switching it up for this film. Yen is an extremely versatile actor who definitely can do more than kick and punch and run and gun. This one looks like an emotional roller coaster ride.
Law Chi Leung helmed the pic which also stars Cecilia Han (The Golden Doll) and Jia Bing (Lost in Russia).
Yen and crew had just started production early in 2020 when they were forced to shut down due to the pandemic. Filming did resume that October and now it’s finally going to hit on October 3rd across China.
