Hounds of War won’t be the only action film fans can look forward to from acclaimed action director Isaac Florentine. The Undisputed franchise helmer also has recently wrapped production on another new film called Hellfire which teams Stephen Lang (Avatar) with Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables). Also starring Harvey Keitel, we’ve got the official synopsis for you below courtesy of Deadline who dropped the exclusive!

The film is about a drifter (played by Stephen Lang) with a mysterious past who arrives in a small town and finds the residents in the grip of a ruthless crime boss and realizes he has to help them.

Additional cast members include Scottie Thompson, Johnny Yong Bosch, Michael Sirow, Chris Mullinax, Maurice Compte, Levon Panek, and Natalie Canerday. Richard Lowry penned the script.

Lang has been a staple in the genre just like Lundgren so it’ll be a nice change of pace to see the versatile actor play the good guy as he’s usually privy to playing the heavy. Band of the Hand has always been a favorite of mine and is another one of Lang’s more heroic roles.
