Max Zhang Leads the WOLF PACK in the First Look Teaser for the High-Octane Mercenary Actioner!

Bullets, explosions and knife fights oh my! Courtesy of our friends over at Asian Film Fans, we now have our first look for Max Zhang’s (Ip Man 3, The Brink) newest actioner titled Wolf Pack. Check out the carnage and stay after the clip for more details on the upcoming film!

In Wolf Pack, Zhang snd his elite team are dispatched to a foreign country to rescue a group of missing children. Of course, the shit hits the fan and all amounts of stunt heavy chaos ensues.

Ever since starring with Donnie Yen in Ip Man 3, Zhang has been on a roll the last few years deivering some high caliber action films and now it looks like he will be enlisting for a new military style actioner from director Michael Chiang who makes his debut with the film. Zhang has since gone on to star in the action films Master Z: Ip Man Legacy, Escape Plan: The Extractors and The Brink.

Zhang stars along with Aarif Lee (Bruce Lee, My Brother) and Jiang Luxia (Double World).

Once title Career as a Mercenary, Jackie Chan was attached to produce the movie with Liu Ye at one time but things changed however and Zhang is now headling the new film which is currently filming with an estimated release scheduled for next year. Chiang is best known for wrting the Singapore film Army Daze(1996) and is now helming the movie which looks like it will be right in my wheelhouse.

The film is helmed by Michael Chiang and it’s been kicking around since 2020 so it’s great to finally see footage and know it’s coming out soon.

Wolf Pack hits domestic Chinese theaters on September 9th do hopefully we’ll get more concrete international dates sooner rather than later!
