PREMAN: SILENT FURY- Check Out the Tantalizing and Beautifully Brutal New Trailer & Box Art for Well Go USA’s Upcoming Indonesian Action Pic!

After watching The Gray Man last week, I’ve come to the realization that foreign markets are killing it in the action cinema department especially in South Korea. I’d like to strap some big wig studio executives to chairs and force them to watch the finest that Asian Action Cinema has to offer in hopes that they will take notes. I’m not holding my breath though as they think they know what we want. Idiots.

Indonesia is another Asian territory that is excelling in the high-octane department and case in point, we have another fine example with Well Go USA’s latest offering to hit their HI-YAH! streaming service this week ahead of its home video release in September. It’s called Preman: Silent Fury and the newly released trailer serves up, once again, some much needed bad ass fight choreography amid a heavy dose of family drama.

Check out the goods below and if you don’t have a subscription to HI-YAH!, then get one ASAP!

A deaf gangster with a traumatic past must fight his way out of his small Indonesian village after his young son witnesses a horrible murder, pitting the man against the mob outfit that employed him in writer/director Randolph Zaini’s first feature filmPREMAN: SILENT FURY, debuting August 5exclusively on the martial arts streaming service Hi-YAH! before hitting Digital, Blu-ray and DVD September 27 from Well Go USA Entertainment. The action-packed martial arts thriller stars Khiva Iskak (Gundala), Kiki Narendra (Gundala, Ghost Writer 2), and Muzakki Ramhan (Gundala).

PREMAN: SILENT FURY was nominated for eight awards at the 2021 Festival Film Indonesia, including Best Film, Best Actor (Khiva Iskak), Best Supporting Actor (Kiki Narendra & Muzakki Ramhan), and Best Director & Best Original Screenplay (Randolph Zaini). In addition, Randolph Zaini received “Special Recognition” from the 2022 Bali International Film Festival (aka BALINALE).

Synopsis:

After his son witnesses a brutal murder by a notorious crime boss, a deaf Indonesian gangster is thrust into the fight of his life when he takes on his dangerous former allies—including a sociopathic assassin—in order to protect his child.

Blunt force trauma is the name of the game here and I’m digging that the main protagonist is deaf as it puts in a layer of dramatic power to the proceedings. Plus you don’t have to hear to kick some massive ass. I’m all in for this one and I can’t wait to throw my thoughts out about it.

Check out the film when it hits HI-YAH! this Friday, August 5th. If you prefer physical media to get your bloody desserts, then check it out on September 27th when it hits video shelves on Blu-Ray and DVD!!!
