Here’s an interesting looking movie that can’t across my desk yesterday. Debuting the world premiere of its trailer is the upcoming horror-thriller The Retaliators from Better Noise Films which sees a host of old school rock stars starring in. If you’re looking for a film that looks to throw it back to the 80’s with its slasher vibe, well, look no further as we have one for you. Plus it stars members of Motley Crue and Papa Roach so what could possibly go wrong?!

Synopsis:

In THE RETALIATORS, an upstanding pastor uncovers a dark and twisted underworld as he searches for answers surrounding his daughter’s brutal murder. A high-octane original soundtrack and cameos from some of the biggest names in rock music set the tone as this horror-thriller reveals a game of revenge played using a new set of rules. Michael Lombardi (Rescue Me), Marc Menchaca (Ozark), and Joseph Gatt (Game of Thrones) star. Five Finger Death Punch, Tommy Lee, Papa Roach, The Hu, Ice Nine Kills, Escape The Fate, and more appear on screen and on THE RETALIATORS Original Soundtrack, releasing with the movie in September via Better Noise Music.

Fueled by a crackling rock soundtrack, the trailer is a mixture of blood, machetes, death, extreme villains and more. It’s nice to know that in this day and age of political correctness being shoved down everyone’s throats, there are still some filmmakers out there looking to keep things old school with in your face and unapologetic movie violence. Blending The Hills have Eyes with Death Wish, this is a definite Saturday night viewing grand slam for sure.

Fans of 80’s and 90’s rock will also have a great time with appearances of some of their most beloved musicians. This just radiates bloody and brutal nostalgic notes on all levels.
