If Netflix doesn’t satisfy your need for adrenaline this summer with the likes of The Gray Man and Day Shift, then they’ve got another healthy dose of Asian action cinema for you. The new film is called Carter and it hails from the visionary director of The Villainess. Check out the latest shot of high-octane carnage below!

Thrown straight into a dangerous mission with none of his memories intact, a man must escape death while trying to figure out who he is, how he ended up here, and most importantly—who is the mysterious voice in his ear calling him “Carter”?

Jung Byung-gil helms the pic which sees lead star Joo Won going through the ringer before the closing credits roll. The teaser does just that, teases a variety of one shot action sequences which of course includes Gun Fu and adrenaline laced chase sequences. I’m there and that’s for damn sure. The synopsis does sound a great deal like Skinwalker sans body swapping but it still looks awesome.

Carter explodes onto Netflix on August 5th!
