FEAR THE NIGHT: Maggie Q Set to Unleash Her Particular Skill Set in the Upcoming Home Invasion Thriller

Fans of actress Maggie Q will have ‘cause for more celebration as the star of The Protege has signed in for a new home invasion action-thriller. Titled Fear the Night, Maggie will star as a former soldier who must revisit her old skill set when her sister’s bachelorette party is besieged by home invaders.

Quiver Distribution is aligning with director Neil LaBute (Lakeview Terrace) who will helm the film. Eric Brenner will produce the movie along with Berry Meyerowitz, Jeff Sackman and Larry Greenberg of Quiver Distribution.

Official Synopsis: Fear the Night follows Iraqi war veteran Tess (Maggie Q) as she prepares for her sister’s bachelorette party. As the festivities unfold, the party is abruptly interrupted by a group of home invaders who quickly take the house under siege looking for a hidden fortune. Surrounded by the frightened party-goers, Tess soon discovers that the ruthless attackers are hellbent on not leaving any witnesses. Tess strikes back, and the special ops expert takes matters into her own hands.

Q is no stranger to action having starred in The CW series Nikita which ran for five seasons. She has also stared in Dragon Squad, King of Fighters and most recently The Protege which also starred Michael Keaton and Samual L. Jackson.

Fear the Night is set to commence principal photography this month. Quiver Distribution is producing and Highland Film Group is handling international sales, with sales being launched at the upcoming Marché du Film.
