Mel Gibson is starting to spring up in every other movie like Bruce Willis these days. The Lethal Weapon star has two films out in Dangerous and First Looks and two on the way in Panama and the subject of this post which is a new thriller from Saban Films called Agent Game.

The new trailer and key art is active for the movie which also stars Dermot Mulroney who is taking the lead on this one, Arrow’s Katie Cassidy, Adam Canto and the always dependable Jason Isaacs.

In this riveting spy thriller, no one is safe. Harris (Dermot Mulroney), a CIA interrogator at an Agency black site, finds himself the target of a rendition operation after being scapegoated for an interrogation gone horribly wrong. As the team tasked to bring Harris in begins to question their orders — and each other —Olsen (Mel Gibson), a senior intelligence officer, and his subordinate, Visser (Annie Ilonzeh), raise the stakes. Now, it’s up to Harris and some newfound allies to uncover the truth and turn the tables.

The above trailer looks promising and the film looks to feature ample spy action with Mulroney finally getting to stretch his action hero chops. Gibson, regardless of how much screen time he has, will most certainly bring his star cred to the proceedings.

Agent Game will hit select theaters, Digital and VOD on April 8th.
