Brad Pitt Hints at an Upcoming Trailer for the David Leitch Helmed BULLET TRAIN in a New PSA Tease

By: John M Jerva

With the first look at the new trailer tease for the upcoming David Leitch helmed actioner Bullet Train, one would think that they are watching a new public service announcement for a new train system that is coming but if you read between the lines, you’ll see that it teases a debut date for the first trailer for the anticipated film which features Pitt as an assassin who must battle other assassins while on board a fast-moving train. Take a peek at the new ad, uhm, tease below!

In the tease, Pitt narrates what appears to be a commercial and the last shot showcases the star looking battered and bloodied while he looks out the window. The video ends with Pitt saying get on board on March 2nd which is probably the date for the trailer premiere. This is one film that I’ve been waiting to see first footage for so I’m marking the 2nd on my calendar as we speak.

Sony’s Bullet Train will hit theaters on July 15th after being bumped from its initial April 18th date which now belongs to Sony’s other action flick Ambulance starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The film is centered on a group of assassins who converge on a train to Tokyo. The shit hits the fan of course as the rogue’s gallery all have different and conflicting reasons as to why they are on the train. The body count will then start to rise in spectacular fashion.

The David Leitch helmed actioner “follows five assassins that find themselves on a Japanese bullet train where they realize that their individual assignments are all interconnected.”

Joining Pitt is a robust cast that features Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Andrew Koji, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benito A. Martinez Ocasio, and Sandra Bullock. An impressive ensemble indeed and one that just might bring audiences out to see it.

Leitch also produced via his 87North production banner along with Kelly McCormick as well as Antoine Fuqua (The Magnificent SevenTraining DayThe Equalizer) and Kat Samick (The EqualizerSouthpawInfinite). Zak Olkewicz (Fear Street) penned the screenplay.

With Leitch at the helm and 87Eleven developing the action set pieces, this one remains high on my list for must sees in 2022. First look footage cannot come fast enough.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for the trailer debut next week as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
