SCAVENGER: It’s a Post Apocalyptic Martial Arts Showdown in the New Trailer for the Dystopian Actioner!

By: John M Jerva

We’ve got a crackling new trailer for all of you Action-Flix fanatics out there and it comes courtesy of Director/Writer Rubén Arnaiz and Argentinian powerhouse, actor, martial artist, stunt pro and filmmaker Andrew Dasz. The post apocalyptic bone cruncher for today is called Ravenger and it features all the brutal kicks and adventure that you could want from an indie action gem. Check out the futuristic carnage below complete with subtitles for the western crowd!

In a post-apocalyptic world, Reiko and Adam escape from the Walled City after stealing something from the Bouden company, which sends a group of mercenaries to catch them. His goal is to reach The Old Woman, a mysterious woman who seems to have the key to start a new future.

Also starring in the dystopian free for all is Steven Dasz, Angus Her, Doua Vang, and newcomer Harumi Takashima.

The dynamo duo of Andrew and Steven Dasz both served as fight and stunt coordinators for all the action set pieces and from the above trailer, there is no shortage of no holds barred fisticuffs to be had.

From the initial footage, I’d have to say that I get a definite 90’s vibe with B movies like Fist of Steel starring the great Dale “Apollo” Cook. I know that one was lower in the budget scale but it immediately shot to mind and that’s a good thing as this one brings a throwback tinge to the proceedings.

Currently in post production, Ravenger will hopefully be unleashed sometime this year so I’m the meantime, watch the trailer as many times as you can and keep it locked and loaded right here for more info to drop as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
