NIGHT OF THE CAREGIVER: The New Horror Film from Producer Alexander Nevsky is in Production!

By: John M Jerva

I normally don’t do horror films on the site but when it comes to Alexander Nevsky, I’ll always make an exception. The bodybuilding champ turned action star and filmmaker is currently producing his first horror film called Night of the Caregiver. Nevsky was able to speak to me about the project which features Hollywood staple Eric Roberts.

Joe Cornet (“A Prayer for the Damned”) is directing. Executive producers are Eric Brenner (“The Haunting of Sharon Tate”) and Sean Murray (“Deep Blue Sea 2”).

Legendary actress Eileen Dietz who portrayed the demon Pazuzu in original “The Exorcist” is starring along with Natalie Denise Sperl (“Mank”), Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (“Dark Knight”), Anna Oris (“Assault on Rio Bravo”) and Joe Cornet. Production is underway in Los Angeles.

The synopsis for the horror pic reads:

Hospice nurse Juliet is hired to be caregiver for Lillian, who lives in an isolated house in a remote area. Although she’s terminally ill, the elderly Lillian seems to be a cordial and sweet lady. However, as the night goes on, Juliet suspects someone else is also dwelling in the house causing she and Lillian to be in grave danger…

Nevsky also gave us some exclusive on set pics which you can see in the gallery below!

Joe Cornet also directed “Assault on Rio Bravo” (which is on final stage of post-production right now) and this Western action movie will be released worldwide in 2022.

Look out for more exclusives from Nevsky on Assault on Rio Bravo, Night of the Caregiver and more upcoming projects. Keep it locked and loaded right here as we are your destination for everything action!!!
