I just wrote a review for Jolt this weekend where I mention that I actually like Jai Courtney and the things he’s done especially Spartacus. I never understood the hate he gets and even though he’s better in some things than others, I don’t mind the actor at all.

With that, Variety is reporting that Courtney has enlisted for the new Amazon series The Terminal List where he will star opposite Chris Pratt.

Per Variety: The series follows James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.

In the series, Courtney will have a substantial role where he will play:

Steve Horn, the billionaire kingpin behind Capstone Industries. Capstone is an enormously successful global fund with its hand in everything from pharmaceuticals to fashion. But Horn’s bread and butter is capitalizing on the latest military trends and innovations. Horn’s hubris and influence are equally threatening, and will put him squarely in Reece’s crosshairs.

The Terminal List is based on the Jack Carr novel of the same name and Carr will serve as a producer on the project. Pratt will also serve as an executive producer via his Indivisible Pictures banner and Antoine Fuqua will helm and will be an executive producer via his Fuqua Films production banner.

Courtney will next be seen in the highly anticipated DC film The Suicide Squad which was helmed by James Gunn. He will reprise his role of Captain Boomerang which is another role I thought he did great in and he showed the most range.

I know I’m gonna post this and someone is going to say he sucks as an actor but I for one enjoy his performances. I got your back Jai.
