Legendary martial arts icon and actress Michelle Yeoh, who will be seen in the upcoming Netflix actioner Gunpowder Milkshake, has found her next gig which is also with the streaming giant.
It’s being reported that Yeoh has enlisted for the prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin which is:
Set in an elven world 1,200 years before events of the main series, The Witcher: Blood Origin tells the story lost to time – the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal “conjunction of the spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.
Yeoh will star along with Vikings alum Laurence O’Fuarain who stars as “Fjall, a character who comes from a clan of warriors sworn to protect a King. In his quest for redemption, Fjall will find himself fighting beside the most unlikely of allies as he carves a path of vengeance across a continent in turmoil.”
The prequel series will consist of six episodes and will air in the future. Henry Cavill stars in the flagship series but obviously won’t be involved in this one.
