There was a time when Tom Hardy was set to lead a Navy SEAL pic for Netflix which I reported on years ago but sadly that project never materialized. Well, it may not be that film but Hardy is starring in a new film for the streaming giant with The Raid Director Gareth Evans helming no less titled Havoc which sounds equally jolt inducing and now we have more exciting casting news to share.
According to the trades, Justified star Timothy Olyphant has been added along with action maestro Sunny Pang of Headshot and The Night Comes for Us fane. They join an an already stacked cast that features Forest Whitaker, Justin Cornwell, Jessie Mei Li, Yeo Yann Yann, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, and UFC mixed martial artist Michelle Waterson. (Per Variety).

The official synopsis reads: After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective (Hardy) must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
Havoc sounds deliciously violent and brutal so count me in with this line up. Evans, who shot to notoriety after directing The Raid films has a deal with Netflix which started with his first film The Apostle. Hardy will also produce along with starring in the movie.
Keep it locked and loaded right here for more on Havoc as we are your destination for everything action!
