The trailers keep on coming today and now we have another adrenaline fueled trailer for Netflix’s kick ass looking female driven actioner Gunpowder Milkshake which features the star studded cast in all their balletic violent fury. Check it out below along with new key art!

The film follows three generations of female assassins who, over the course of a single night, fight to stop a cycle of violence. Leading the charge is Sam (Karen Gillan), who was only 12 years old when her mother Scarlet (Lena Headey), an elite assassin, was forced to abandon her. Sam was raised by The Firm, the ruthless crime syndicate her mother worked for. Now, 15 years later, Sam has followed in her mother’s footsteps and grown into a fierce hit-woman. Things become complicated when Sam must choose between serving The Firm and protecting the life of an innocent 8-year-old girl – Emily (Chloe Coleman). With a target on her back, Sam has only one chance to survive: reunite with her mother and her lethal associates The Librarians.

The all-star killer line up includes Karen Gillan, Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, Paul Giamatti, Michelle Yeoh, and Ralph Ineson.

Even before the film’s release, a sequel was already announced and Netflix is eyeing franchise potential with this one to go along with their other heavy hitters like Extraction and The Old Guard.

From first look footage including today’s trailer debut, the cast look action ready and there will be massive buckets of blood and bullets spent on this one when all is said and done. Bare witness to scenes that pay a gratuitous homage to past films like John Wick and Kill Bill with Gillan looking phenomenal in the stunt filled spectacle.

Anytime you have the iconic Michelle Yeoh throwing down with fists, feet and bravado, you know you’re in for a good time. Heady always hits a grand slam in anything she does and her steak looks like it’ll continue.
