Everyday it seems that there’s a new DTV action pic starring Bruce Willis. At one time, Willis was one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood but times have changed. Lately, it seems that Willis is starring in anything he can get his hands on and most of the time, they’re extended cameos.

Well, we have another pic to talk about today and once again Willis is starring alongside Frank Grillo, who once again is the hardest working man in cinema. Grillo and Willis have starred together in the extremely lackluster Reprisal as well as the much more watchable Cosmic Sin which just recently released.

News coming out of Deadline is saying that the new project is titled A Day to Die and the two stars will be featured along with Kevin Dillon who sounds like the real star of the film.

Per Deadline: In the film, a disgraced parole officer (Dillon) is indebted to a local gang leader and forced to pull off a series of dangerous drug heists within twelve hours in order to pay the $2 million dollars he owes, rescue his kidnapped pregnant wife, and settle a score with the city’s corrupt police chief (Willis), who is working with the gang leader and double-crossed him years ago.

Leon, Gianni Capaldi, Brooke Butler, Vernon Davis, Mohamed Karim, Alexander Kane, and Curtis Nichouls Star in the film as well. Wes Miller helmed the pic from a script penned by Scott Mallace and Rab Berry.

Vertical Entertainment recently acquired the film for U.S. distribution and from the looks of it, Willis is an antagonist and will be featured in an extended cameo role once again. There’s no info on Grillo’s character so stay tuned.

The film is due to hit sometime in 2022 so keep it locked and loaded right here for more as we are your destination for everything action!
