Scott Adkins & Snoop Dogg Join Jamie Foxx for the Netflix Vampire Thriller DAY SHIFT!

We have some exciting casting news for all you Scott Adkins fans out there as THR is reporting that the action star is uniting with Jamie Foxx and none other than Snoop Dogg for a Netflix original movie titled Day Shift which will feature vampires no less.

Per THR: Day Shift sees Jamie Foxx play a hard working blue collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international Union of vampire hunters.

The ensemble cast also includes Dave Franco, Meagan Good, Karla Souza, Eric Lange and Zion Broadnax along with Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Steve Howey and C.S. Lee and the movie will be the directorial debut of veteran stunt professional, martial arts expert and fight choreographer J.J. Perry.

Perry has featured in countless movies and TV series and he has most recently worked as a second unit director and stunt coordinator for the hit movies Bloodshot, The Fate of the Furious and the John Wick franchise. He is definitely an action maestro and it’s great to see him finally helping a movie with this much star power.

Hopefully Adkins will have a prominent role in the film and finally show a wider audience what he can do as he has basically been one of the genre’s top performers over the last few decades.
