It’s no secret that I’ve been dying to see Asian action star Tak Sakaguchi’s one shot Samurai epic Crazy Samurai Musashi ever since I first heard about it. I’ve done substantial posts for the film over the past several months and now I’m excited to say that fans in North America will finally get their shot when the movie hits Well Go USA’s streaming service HI-YAH! this February!

The news comes with new key art, trailer and a name change which is now Crazy Samurai: 400 vs. 1 and it looks sensational and you can view them along with the official details surrounding the release below! Get ready as one man is about to take on 400 in the longest one shot fight scene ever filmed!

When a master samurai arrives to duel the disgraced Yoshioka dojo, he walks into an ambush. In the world’s first 77-minute, one-take action film sequence, Miyamoto Musashi (Tak Sakaguchi) fights for his life against 400 warriors, earning a place in history as the CRAZY SAMURAI MUSASHI.

The movie which is helmed by Tak’s longtime collaborating director Yuji Shimomura (Death Trance, Re: Born) will hit the HI-YAH! streaming service on February 12th before it officially hits Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital on March 2nd.

Resident contributor The Arty Dans over at Asian Film Fans served up a review of his own on this one which you can view here (https://wp.me/pb0Nye-46E) but know that I will offer my opinion as well as soon as I finally view the film. In the meantime, check out the new HI-YAH! release trailer for the movie below!
