Action star Scott Adkins and action filmmaker Jesse V. Johnson are back with the highly anticipated sequel Debt Collectors and they return to Action-Flix.com and the Action Fix podcast to chat about the new film as well as surviving the pandemic, shooting action scenes and discussing what they’re most challenging film they have done together. This is a must listen for all serious action fans!
Debt collectors French and Sue get to work doing what they do best – cracking skulls and breaking bones – as they chase down the various lowlifes who owe money to their boss, Tommy. They’re summoned to Las Vegas to collect from a dirty casino owner, who happens to be a vicious ex-lover of Sue’s. Meanwhile, a notorious drug kingpin is on the warpath to kill French and Sue to avenge his brother’s death. Facing danger from all angles, the pair will have no other choice but to fight their way out of an explosively dangerous situation.
Debt Collectors is their seventh collaboration if you add in their first feature they did together Pit Fighter and there’s no slowing down for the one-two punch combo of the action genre. Their other hit films include Savage Dog, Accident Man, Triple Threat, The Debt Collector and most recently Avengement. Check out my candid interview with these two legends of action on The Action Fix Podcast! We talk about the challenges of shooting the film and delve deeper into the first film as well and much, much more. It’s Scott Adkins and Jesse V. Johnson on this episode of The Action Fix podcast.
