The new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel The Debt Collector 2 has officially arrived. Scott Adkins and Louis Mandylor are back and no worse for wear as they face new challenges, new villains and extreme action in Director Jesse V. Johnson’s newest action epic and this time they’re headed to Vegas baby! Check out Adkins and Mandylor taking out the trash while getting on each other’s nerves below!

The film has a new title and is now known simply as Debt Collectors which is a nice touch as there are two of them as we all know. In the UK, the film will be known as Payback: Debt Collector 2.

Debt collectors French and Sue get to work doing what they do best – cracking skulls and breaking bones – as they chase down the various lowlifes who owe money to their boss, Tommy. They’re summoned to Las Vegas to collect from a dirty casino owner, who happens to be a vicious ex-lover of Sue’s. Meanwhile, a notorious drug kingpin is on the warpath to kill French and Sue to avenge his brother’s death. Facing danger from all angles, the pair will have no other choice but to fight their way out of an explosively dangerous situation.

Adkins and Mandylor star along with Vladimir Kulich, who returns from the original as well as new additions Mayling Ng, Louie Ski Carr, Charity Collins and Marina Sirtis. 

I chatted with Adkins back in December for Ip Man 4: The Finale and he gave me some exclusive scoop about the sequel at the time and how it was possible given how the first one ended. 

Here’s the thing. I was disappointed with how we ended the first movie and once we made it and edited the film together in my opinion and I don’t speak for Jesse Johnson as I think he has a different take on it but to me I thought we made a mistake and that we shouldn’t kill the two characters. Now my character, he didn’t die, you never see him die. I think we made a mistake and what we’re doing and I hope the audience will be on board with this is that they’ll be OK with it and we’re saying that Louis’ injuries were bad but somehow he made it through and that he’s been in a coma for sometime and my character French thinks that he is dead and one day Sue turns up and he’s alive and Tommy (Vladimir Kulich) took good care of him and hid him away from the people that wanted him dead. He’s been able to pull through and he died twice actually on the operating table but he was able to pull through and my charcter pulled through. We’re kind of rewriting what happened at the end of the last movie in the beginning of this film and we hope everyone goes along with it and the audience is going to be in for a good ride again with this one.

The boys are back and in fine form as Adkins belts out his trademark moves and Mandylor simply pummels his opponents into submission. The action looks fantastic and it will surely out do the original in scope. This comes at a great time as I need my Adkins and Mandylor fix pronto.
