He’s been a part of the Terminator universe and a part of the Aliens universe and now genre favorite and Action-Flix favorite Michael Biehn has joined the cast of season 2 of The Mandalorian!

The report comes from ComicBook.com by way of the site Making Star Wars where Biehn joins another genre favorite in Dardevil’s Rosario Dawson who was announced last week as another addition to the cast as she will be playing the live action version of Ahsoka Tano.

Biehn’s role is being kept secret for now but there is word that he will be playing another bounty hunter who has ties to Mando played by Pedro Pascal. The actor is best known for his roles of Kyle Reese in Terminator as well as Corporal Dwayne Hicks from Aliens.

Returning cast members from season 1 include Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Taika Waititi as IG-11, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, Werner Herzog as The Client and Emily Swallow who played the toke of The Armorer.

I got the honor to meet Michael last October at the New York Comic Con and he was gracious and as nice as could be and took the time to talk to me for several minutes before taking a photo with me and signing a photo of himself as Hicks from Aliens. He’s always been a favorite of mine and it was such a thrill to meet him in person. I’m thrilled that he is now a part of the iconic Star Wars franchise as he deserves it!

Season 2 is highly anticipated to say the least and hopefully we get to still see the new season this year. Series creator Jon Favreau said that the second season would hit this fall but in the current climate, that might not be possible now. Keep it locked and loaded right here for more 411 to come!
