By: John M Jerva

With the world going crazy right now, it’s refreshing to report some good ol’ casting news in the form of a new action-thriller titled Assault On VA-33 which features a host of action elite including Michael Jai White, Mark Dacascos and Sean Patrick Flanery and more as reported recently by Deadline.

Per the site: The plot centers on decorated veteran and PTSD sufferer, Jason Hill (Sean Patrick Flanery), who he meets his wife, Jennifer, for lunch at the Veteran’s Affairs hospital where she works. After Jennifer is called away for an emergency consultation with the head of US Military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, the hospital and everyone in it are taken hostage by heavily armed terrorists. Jason becomes the last line of defense and must battle the terrorists and his own PTSD induced demons to save his wife, the General, the hospital’s staff and patients.

Other cast members include Abigail Hawk of Blue Bloods, Weston Cage Coppola from Circus Kane, Gina Holden, Rob Van Dam, Brittany Underwood, Max Adler, Richard Gabai and Gerald Webb.

Christopher Ray will helm the indie action pic from a script penned by Scott Thomas Reynolds and unfortunately who knows when production will start as Hollywood like the rest of the world is at a standstill due to the Coronavirus scares. Hopefully we will have good news to report sooner rather than later but this film sounds like a kick ass good time do let’s hope we see it soon.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more details to come and stay safe and sane out there everyone!
