Henry Golding Confirms SNAKE EYES: GI JOE ORIGINS has Officially Wrapped Production!

By: John M Jerva

Snake-Eyes himself Henry Golding took to Twitter to announce that the GI Joe spin-off aptly named Snake-Eyes GI Joe Origins has officially wrapped production which was now in Japan. The film started off in Vancouver before moving over to Asia and now its in the can. Check out Golding’s post below.

Check out the awesome fan art poster of Golding as Snake-Eyes courtesy of the great artist Boss Logic below to properly get you in the mood! It’s another great poster just like the one done for the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.

Golding also stated in the post above that the movie will “blow everyone’s socks off.” I’ll be the judge of that but I am remaining cautiously optimistic and am still excited due to the talent involved with the production.

Golding stars along with Andrew Koji (Warrior) as Storm Shadow, Iko Uwais (The Raid, Triple Threat) as Hard Master, Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) as Scarlett, Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist) as Baroness, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Takehiro Hira as Kenta and Steven Allerick (The Expanse) who is playing Snake’s father.

Post Production will now get under way and hopefully we will get some exciting footage and images soon. Golding did share the image below of him as the iconic Ninja Commando on his birthday but besides some on set photos, we still wait for the good stuff.

Robert Schwentke (RED, R.I.P.D.) helmed the pic from a script penned by Evan Spiliotopoulous (Bright 2, The Huntsman: Winter’s War).

Snake-Eyes: GI Joe Origins is set to be unleashed in theaters this fall on October 23rd so we probably won’t have a long wait to see Golding and crew in action. Keep it locked and loaded right here for more from Snake-Eyes!
