Actress Blake Lively has officially thrown her hat into the ring of female centric action thrillers with her upcoming film The Rhythm Section which sees her character out for vengeance when tragedy strikes.

A first trailer dropped last year and that teaser showed us what we were in store for and now there’s a second trailer serving up more footage of Lively going all bad ass. She is almost unrecognizable in the pic as well and it looks like she’s gonna own the role. Check it out below!

Official Synopsis: Stephanie Patrick veers down a path of self-destruction after a tragic plane crash kills her family. When Stephanie discovers it wasn’t an accident, she soon embarks on a bloody quest for revenge to punish those responsible.

Starring alongside Lively is Jude Law with Reed Moreno sitting in the director’s chair. Mark Burnell pens the screenplay based on the book he wrote of the same name.

This film is sneaking up on audiences as this new trailer hits within days of the film’s release which is on January 31st courtesy of Paramount Pictures. Watch Lively in action in the new teaser below.
