THE WITCHER: Henry Cavill Debuts an Action Drenched Clip from Netflix’s Anticipated Fantasy Adaptation!

We now have our first official clip from Netflix’s highly anticipated new series The Witcher which features Henry Cavill as monster hunter Geralt of Rivia. Cavill was on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show where he debuted the clip and you can see the footage and the entire interview below!

Based on the best-selling fantasy series, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.

Cavill stars along with Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Mimi Ndiweni as fledgling sorceress Fringilla, Sabrina as Therica Wilson-Read, Millie Brady as outcast Princess Renfri, Adam Levy as Mousesack, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as the knight Eist and MyAnna Buring as Tissaia.

The clip starts at roughly the 6 minute 22 second mark in the interview and it shows off some stunning fight and sword choreography that will sure please fans. Cavill looks spot on as the fabled monster hunter from the best selling series of books and it’s great to see him in action again as his future as the Man Of Steel remains up in the air.

The Witcher is set to drop on Netflix starting on December 20th!
