CHARLIE’S ANGELS: The Second Trailer Lands for the Reboot

By: John M Jerva

For those of you feeling nostalgic or just want to see yet another reimagining of a popular 70’s TV series, Sony Pictures has released a second trailer for their upcoming Charlie’s Angels which sees actress and director Elizabeth Banks helming with a new trio of agents played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska. Check it out below.

Official Synopsis: “In Banks’ bold vision, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world’s smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere.”

What makes this interesting is that Banks also plays one of three Bosleys in the film with Djimon Hounsou and Patrick Stewart playing the others. You see both Banks and Stewart but Hounsou is still not present so it’ll be interesting to see what that’s all about.

Women have been kicking ass for years but it’s great to see all of these female centric action flicks popping up and while I’m sure this one will take its lumps with critics and audiences alike, it still looks like a helluva lot of fun and Banks, who also co-wrote the film from a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn, certainly brings the energy to the proceedings.

Charlie’s Angels lands in theaters on November 15th!
