Action and international superstar Jason Statham is reuniting with the director who put him in the map as it is being reported that The Stath And helmer Guy Ritchie are hooking up once again for as yet untitled revenge action-thriller!

Per Deadline who dropped the news:

“Jason Statham, who broke out playing the fast-talking protagonists in Guy Ritchie’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, is reuniting with the filmmaker again. The new as-yet-untitled project is a revenge-based action thriller from Miramax, which has acquired remake rights to the original 2004 French film Le Convoyeur from StudioCanal to make it happen.”

“The plot follows H, a cold and mysterious character working at a cash truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. Weaving through a suspenseful and carefully constructed narrative, the film shifts across timelines and between various characters’ perspectives for a thrilling and mind-bending experience.”

In the article, Ritchie talked about reteaming with Statham for a third time:

“I’m looking forward to bringing this story to life and working with Jason while he still has the use of his knees.”

Ritchie also has a new gangster laced thriller coming out soon as Matthew McConaughey is starring in the new film titled The Gentleman.

Statham is, of course, coming off the huge success of Hobbs And Shaw also starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson which has grossed over $758 million since it debuted last August.
