Well it looks like Sylvester Stallone isn’t the only one out there in action movie land that has onel last movie franchise entry in him. Stallone, who will be seen in RAMBO: LAST BLOOD this September, has good company as Harrisin Ford has officially confirmed that the long in development fifth INDIANA JONES film will most likely start rolling in front of the cameras next year per Variety.

Ford was at the grand opening of Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction  this past weekend made the announcement while being interviewed for the event. One of the biggest attractions at the new STAR WARS themed park is a ride that is based off Han Solo’s own trusted space freighter the Millenium Falcon to which Ford jokingly replied “I think it works better than the one we used to use for the movies,”

When Ford was asked about his other iconic movie persona, Indiana Jones, Ford made a lot of people happy when he stated the film, “should be starting to shoot sometime next year.” Ford also added that “I’m looking forward to it,” and that “Things are coming along well.”

Now things can change in the blink of an eye but this is certainly welcoming news for fans who have been waiting for one more round with the famed adventurer. Steven Spielberg is also set to return to the helm for the supposed last film with Ford in the lead and I think that this will definitely be the last one as no one can play the character but Ford.

INDIANA JONES 5 already has a planned release date and is set to hit theaters on July 9th, 2021. In the meantime, check out Indy in action from a classic scene from THE TEMPLE OF DOOM!
