This week, like all others, was hectic to say the least but it ended with a pleasant surprise as I discovered that the British action/horror film Tribal-Get Out Alive has finally hit North American Blu-Ray and DVD courtesy of Evolutionary Films and Echo Bridge Entertainment.

The film stars martial arts powerhouse Zara Phythian and Accident Man’s Ross O’Hennesy as two elite operatives who are tasked with securing and clearing a property that is owned by a billionaire. Things go awry of course when the two and their team run into a horde of deranged individuals who want to hunt them down and kill them Most Dangerous Game style.

The artwork, which you can see below from my own personal copy that I purchased today, is fierce, although I don’t know why they didn’t use the original artwork which features Zara and Ross. It’s a small pet peeve but I’m excited to finally check it out!

Official Synopsis: Elite military operative Caitlin Ross retires from service after suffering from PTSD. Along with former team member and close friend Brad Johnson, they opted for the ‘easy life’ and now run a small security firm. The company are hired by young, troublesome millionaire Richard Kenning to clear and secure the land and property he has recently inherited. Rumours and stories surrounding the land and buildings are dismissed until people start disappearing and the team end up locked in with no escape. It soon becomes apparent they are being hunted and the race is on to get out alive.

Phythian and O’Hennessy star alongside Thomas Dodd, Valerie Thomas with Matthew Routledge helming from a script written by Johnny Walker.

The film is available exclusively right now at Wal-Mart but is also available on Digital Platforms like VUDU. The movie will launch later in the year in other territories and it looks like it is locked and loaded with some truly brutal and epic fight action with a savage twinge to it. Definitely add this one to your must see list pronto. The top tier action ensemble will not disappoint and this will be a nice and bloody diversion to view for all of you isolated indoors as of late.

The trailer serves up a fast helping of the bloody and brutal carnage that the movie will offer genre fans craving their next action drenched fix and the stars look like they will certainly bring the pain in the film’s numerous fight sequences.
